In the Lao alphabet, many consonant sounds are represented by two different letters. When writing a word, you select a consonant base on the tone with which the word is pronounced.
For common words, most people choose the right letter. But for words that are heard less often, many people are unsure which spelling to use. Here are some 400 words that are most commonly misspelled. The light-hearted illustrations encourage readers to browse through the book again and again.
