A Yao Mien girl
Sengtip washes dishes and plays with friends. Her mother pounds rice, her sister embroiders, and her father sharpens a knife.
This picture book shows the daily life of a Yao Mien girl in Luang Namtha province. It will be particularly appealing to young children who use their minority language in their home, as they learn to read and speak Lao in school.
